Giving Opportunities

You can make a gift to the FSU Buddhist Studies program by proposing funding for a new initiative (e.g. student scholarship/fellowship, faculty position, library acquisitions, center, lecture series, etc.) or you can click on one of the funds described below. All donations related to the funding initiatives listed below will go directly toward the various events offered through the FSU Buddhist Studies program, including our lecture series, conferences, workshops, and outreach programs. I would like to contribute to the Sheng Yen Buddhist Studies Lecture Series

The Sheng Yen Buddhist Studies Lecture Series was established in 2011 in conjunction with the establishment of the Sheng Yen Professorship in Chinese Buddhist Studies. The Lecture Series supports annual lectures, workshops, and conferences by visiting scholars at the Florida State University.

I would like to contribute to the Sheng Yen Education Foundation Graduate Fellowship

The Sheng Yen Education Foundation Graduate Fellowship in Chinese Buddhist Studies supports high-achieving graduate students in Buddhist Studies at the Florida State University. This award is open to men and women, regardless of race, creed, or national origin.

I would like to contribute to the Tessa J. Bartholomeusz Lecture in Religion

The Tessa J. Bartholomeusz Lecture in Religion has been established in 2001 by the faculty of the Department of Religion, Florida State University, in memory of our late colleague. Tessa Bartholomeusz (1958-2001) came to Florida State and remained in the department until her passing in 2001. The Bartholomeusz Lecture invites scholars of Buddhist and South Asian studies.
