Dr. Robert Campany, Professor of Asian Studies and Religious Studies at Vanderbilt University, will deliver the Seventh Annual Sheng Yen Lecture on January 24, 2020, at 4:30 PM in Dodd Hall Auditorium. His lecture is entitled “The Dreams of Self Cultivators: Comparing a Daoist and a Buddhist Text for Practitioners." Further information is available here. 

The Department of Religion will hold its annual Undergraduate Reception for Majors and Interested Students on Tuesday, October 1st, from 5:00-6:30pm on the Dodd Hall Landing (in the main door, up the stairs).

(in the Longmire Building). Religion Faculty, Staff & Graduate Students are invited. Spouses, partners, and children are welcome. Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks provided.

The FSU Department of Religion will host its annual end-of-year picnic at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 4th, at the FSU Reservation's Renegade Shelter. Students, staff, faculty, and their families are all welcome. Students need FSU ID for admission; non-students welcome as department’s guests.
