Each spring the graduate students of the department of religion host an international graduate student symposium. Graduate students from all over the country and abroad travel to Tallahassee to participate in the weekend-long conference. At each symposium, a distinguished visitor delivers a key-note address and faculty members from the department serve as respondents for the various paper sessions.
The Department of Religion will hold its 18th Annual Graduate Student Symposium February 14-15, 2020, in Tallahassee, Florida. The symposium will center on the theme “Policing Identity, Surveilling Religion.” For more details, please visit the symposium's page and see its CFP.
